In 1830 there were 100 thousand Māori and 300 thousand Europeans living in New Zealand. The behavior of the Whalers, the Missionaries’ desire to help protect Māori rights and the Musket Wars were reasons that a treaty was needed. The Declaration of Independence was another contributing factor to the need for a treaty. One reason that a treaty was needed was the lawless behavior of some of the British Settlers. Another reason that a treaty was needed was to protect Māori rights. One group that felt strongly about this was the missionaries. Another reason that a treaty was needed was the Musket Wars. The final reason that a treaty was needed was the existence of the Declaration of Independence. In conclusion, a treaty was needed because of all the illegal things that were happening and the overuse of alcohol, prostitution and more.

Is Sport better than Music. (essay writting)
(NOTE THIS IS NOT FINISHED)
I personally feel both are great.
Music is an awesome entertainment source. For me, music is good because some musicians stand out for their use of lyrics. Music can also have a big effect on other people not just from the beat or rhythm in which the song plays, but inside the lyrics of the song. A well known musical artist/rapper, “Tupac Amaru Shakur” is a great example for telling real-life problems and transferring them into a song, this can help others open up about relatable problems and feel less insecure, that's what I think one of the way’s music is good. Another way I think that music is good is that it can fill up an empty atmosphere and give off good vibes and fixed moods.

The Hunger Games - Theme analyse
(NOTE THIS POST IN NOT FINISHED)
(Rich vs Poor)
Rich vs Poor is shown when Katniss and Peeta arrive at Panam on the train. When they arrive you immediately notice the difference from District 12, They're all in bright/rich clothing, wigs, and excessive make-up whereas in Katniss's District they're in handmade overworn and dull clothing. when they enter The Capitol you see the use of technology, light whites, blues, and various metals to give the audience the feeling of a clean, wealthy society they own. In District 12 they have none of what The Capitol own.
Another huge scene that shows the theme Rich vs Poor in a similar way is shown in the arena when Katniss is all alone trying to survive whilst District 1 and 2 are in alliances, also showing a way that she's poor.
(Struggle for Power)
We see Struggle for Power in the arena when Katniss is out hunting and looking for resources to survive whereas District 1 is out in the open with all the resources such as food and threatening like weapons enough to last weeks. That can relate to Struggle for Power but to survive because they are limiting the resources that others have access to for there survival.
Another scene that shows the theme Struggle for Power that could've ended tragically took place in the arena. The two tributes Katniss and Peeta had so low power and respect from other districts that they wanted to end it by threatening to eat the nightlock berries at the end of the game because they couldn't get what they wanted to not kill each other, doing that President Snow decided to keep two winners whilst getting rob off his will for one.

Hunger Games Essay
In the film “The Hunger Games” colour, costume and lighting are used effectively to show the audience the difference in wealth exercising the theme of Rich vs Poor.
We see the imbalance of Rich vs Poor in the Reaping scene, For instance, the children in district 12 all look alike in dull, simple and over-worn clothing. In contrast, Effie Trinkett arrives wearing bright clothes, a large wig, a headpiece and excessive make-up. This makes the audience feel sorry for the people of District 12 because Effie is a symbol of wealth in The Capitol. We see that not everyone lives in poverty. The director did this to show the hard life of those in Katniss and Peeta’s District live in. Coinciding with this is Effie’s behaviour. She is loud, happy and confident while the people of District 12 are shy, scared and vulnerable showing their Struggle for Power. This can be juxtaposed in the scene where Katniss and Peeta arrive in the capitol.
Linking back to colour, within scenes of the film, colour is used effectively to show the theme I mentioned before, Rich vs Poor. This is demonstrated in two scenes - District 12 at the start of the film and the capitol when Katniss and Peeta arrive on the train. In District 12 a natural, dull and dark palette of greens and browns are used to create a wild atmosphere, whereas in The Capitol there's a variety of shiny metallics, industrial silvers and light blues to give the audience a feeling of a technological and advanced society that they hold.
Another theme that the director effectively used in the film is camera shots and angles. Garry Ross used camera angles perfectly in specific scenes to give the viewers a visual of power. We see this theme when President Snow was addressing the crowd at the tribute parade. In this scene, the director uses a low angle, over the shoulder, extreme wide shot to show that snow is greater than everyone else. The purpose of this was to introduce the antagonist character and show the power he has over everyone, including Katniss. Coinciding with this is the use of lighting focusing on Snow and the tributes to show they are the most important figures in this scene. This can be juxtaposed to when the two tributes, Katniss and Peeta, reclaim power from Snow in the arena by threatening to eat the nightlock berries and finessing Snow of his victor.
In conclusion, we see that colour, costume and lighting is effectively used to show theme Rich vs Poor. We see this in the Reaping scene where District 12 are idly waiting for Effie to announce the names, they’re all alike wearing the same clothing all dull, dirty and overworn. In another scene, Rich vs Poor is shown in the arena when Katniss is all alone whilst District 1 and 2 are in alliances, also showing a way that she's poor. For me, as a viewer, I would feel mixed emotions for her and her district because of the struggle they have.

The Capitol has more bright colours and advanced buildings and technologies, whereas District 12 has dull colours to show their rundown buildings and overworn clothing. Combined with the use of costumes we're able to see the divide between the wealthy and the capitol and the poor of District 12. This reminds the audience of the riot scene later in the film when the poor citizens of District 11 rebel against the rule of the Capitol.

WS1 - The Hunger Games film study
Technique/Aspect - Power/Control - Poverty/Wealth
Over the shoulder (angle)
-Brings the audience into the conversation.
High angle (angle)
-The subject is important/has more power than ones below.
Extreme wide shot (shot)
-Gives perspective and size
-Everyone's looking up at president snow
-Body gestures
-Tributes are seen as vulnerable
-Below the citizens.
Sexy paragraph (practice)
In 'The Hunger Games' camera shots and angles are used effectively to show the theme of power.
We see this when President Snow is addressing the crowd at the tribute parade.
In this scene, the director uses a low angle, over the shoulder, extreme wide shot to show that Snow is greater than everyone else.
The purpose of this is to introduce the antagonist character and show the power and control he has over others, including Katniss.
Coinciding with this is the use of lighting focusing on the tributes and Snow to show that they are the most important figures in the scene.
This can be juxtaposed to when the tributes, Katniss and Peeta, reclaim power from Snow in the arena by threatening to eat the nightlock berries and robbing Snow of his victor.
Low angle (angle)
-Shows she is important why? She just volunteered as tribute.
Dutch tilt (angle)
-Dramatic perspective, something is not right.
Mid shot (shot)
-Not intimate for viewers, we feel like we are watching it happen.

Trip to New Zealand
I live in London, I don't like it because it has a lot of contagious diseases and infections. In London, there are about 7-10 people all crammed into one apartment. You don't get much here, apart from either getting sick from whooping cough, measles, etc. There are also bad paying jobs, That's why I want to move to another country, I saw a poster advertising good things about New Zealand. I research about New Zealand and it made me want to move as soon as I could. In New Zealand, there is more land, nice houses, good paying jobs and also fresh water. I really wanted to go but there were a few things stopping me from going I needed a lot of food and water to last me at least 100 days out at sea sailing. I needed friends and family to come with me so we could interchange shifts of sailing because I know that I wouldn't be able to sail 100 days by myself. a few weeks went by and we were ready to go, we packed all our stuff up and put it on our boat. When we started sailing it was calm until we got a few miles offshore then things started getting bad, the weather started changing, clouds blackening winds rushing and the ocean was rough. A few hours past of continuous waves smashing up the side of our boat, I started regretting it but I knew when I got there it was going to be worth it
